K-Salaam - Street Life
If you’re a fan of Roxanne by The Police and you have an appreciation for reggae music, you’ll love this track.
Collie Buddz - Par Wid I Mon
Jiggafellz: I try to stay up with Reggae music by seeing what a few artists are up to: Marley Brothers, Sean Paul, Tanto Metro, etc. Here’s a track by Collie Buddz that I really liked and felt I could vibe with.
Matisyahu
Yes, Matisyahu is a Hasidic Jew. And yes, he’s white and singing reggae. And despite what you might already be inferring, he’s totally amazing. His first album shows off a host of his lyrical, beatboxing, and reggae skillz. And on top of that, its such a fun album to listen to when you’re looking for some quality music to fill your background space.
Damian, Julian, and Stephen Marley
The Marley’s stand out far outside the realm of the norm. I consider them a distinct group of artists and brothers who inherited the wisdom and soul of Bob Marley, while still adapting to the new culture and politics of our generation. They stand firm as the roots of conscious reggae music.
