Now this is an oldie (was shown back in February ‘09), but I bring it up because it’s so creative. Kanye rarely does his music videos with a whole bunch of hofessionals. He chooses to take inspiration from outside artists and video producers to create something unique to hip hop. It’s not necessarily unique  to the whole media industry, but just to hip hip.

Quick Advice: Look what works really well in outside industries / markets. Then see if you can apply it to your style of art with a slightly different spin. Most people don’t just come up with a unique idea. They just steal it from others!
